On February 28th, 2025, the latest Gundam film, GQuuuuuux -Beginning-, arrived in theaters across the USA... and you bet we were there to bask in the glow of Gundam on the silver screen!  Join us as we discuss our thoughts on the film, including is the GQuacks/GKwucks debate a potato/potahto situation?  Is the Red Gundam really a Beetleborg gone rogue?  Did the Zeknova open the newtype dimension?  Did Degwin retire to hang out with Garma at the opera house?  Who or what is the Rose of Sharon?  Are the Pomeranians too poor to even be competing in Clan Battle?  Plus, everyone must choose a side in the fast approaching robot mascot wars: Haro or Conch!

Last time we covered the best emblems, so now it's only fair we unveil our picks for the worst emblems in the history of Gundam!  Once again, no faction, ace pilot, or team squadron is safe from our discerning eyes.  Our list ranges from the obscure like OZ's tin man and Shagia Frost's emo horse, to the heavy hitters like AEUG's funny circles and the Earth Federation's Brazilian basketball.  What emblems are in your bottom five?  Let us know!

0133: Top Five Gundam Emblems

The Gundam franchise has spawned hundreds of emblems over the last ~45 years representing ace pilots, factions, team squadrons, and many other groups.  In this episode, we comb through the archives to find our favorite five emblems of all time!  From classics like the Principality of Zeon, to modern standouts like the Phantom Sweep Corps, to iconic insignias like Amuro's unicorn "A", to enigmas like the Chimera Corps, or to obscure MSV logos from the 1980s like Col. Cranberry's Dom Cold Climate Type, we leave no emblem behind.  Plus, hear Isaac's reaction as he discovers the Titans Test Team bunny emblems for the first time!

0132: What is GQuuuuuux?

In December 2024, Sunrise announced the newest Gundam TV series coming in 2025 titled Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuux.  Created by the minds behind hit anime Neon Genesis Evangelion and FLCL, what universal secret is GQuuuuuux hiding?  Just how many u's are in GQuuuuuux?  How do you even pronounce GQuuuuuux for that matter?  Who gave the White Base a green paint wash and go-fast stripes?   Brian fears he might be the old man yelling at clouds while Isaac demands those Zaku hips must be lying.  Will there be sparkles and Gundam guitars?  What about the Doms?  We'll find out in 2025!

0131: 2025 New Year's Resolutions

Happy New Year, Gundam fans!  To ring in 2025, we run down our list of resolutions for Gundam characters, factions, and creators.  From Iria Solari to Mr. Bushido, from Setsuna F. Seiei to Meitzer Ronah, everyone is on the table.  We discuss princesses, anti-princesses, HLVs, disability insurance, home maintenance plans, persocoms, dormant mobile armors, and much more.  Plus, we dare ask the question, perhaps ZAFT just really enjoys all their coups?

0130: Mail Call #6: Salty Coordinators? 00h N00!

The King Space Pig has arrived at Zum City with a full mailbag so we are emptying it out in time for 2025!  We start with a delicious tangent about homemade fudge, lay out our 2025 Gundam goals, and then the comments come fast and furious: Coordinators and Innovators seem a tad salty but life goes on.  What happens if Kira gets a cold?  Are civilian shields the key to destroying the RX-78-2?  Does Brian need a hot patchworker mommy?  Would Isaac rather have the HG Dendrobium or the Destroy?  What is the best punny product you created – hot pockets, My Little Ponies, cereal, or sunflower seeds?  Should Master Hand wield gunpla nippers?  What ever happened to the Blue Destiny?  And where the hell is Kamille when the Earth needed him the most? 

0129: Requiem for Vengeance Review

We join up with Captain Iria Solari's Red Wolf Squadron as they drop into the One Year War's Eastern European theater in Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance!  Despite being on Netflix, Solari's team has a very unchill time as they encounter the nightmarish Gundam EX and have to resort to Zaku Wacky Types patched together in a Zeon junkyard.  In this series where every human looks like an uncanny glazed donut, we discuss Zeon's notebook of stock squadron names, probe Solari's psyche for possible ending motives, and recognize Zeon's sleight of hand skills for stealing the GM keys!  What are you waiting for?  Get in your Zack-u or your Saberfish and join the fight!

In October 2024, Anime Expo Cinema Nights brought the Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) compilation films to theaters across the United States and we were there for every single one!  Join us as we journey alongside the Soldiers of Sorrow on the White Base as they fly fearlessly toward the Encounters in Space they are destined for!  We discuss the massive crowds, the eternal sub vs. dub debate, M’Quve’s fate, the Core Booster, espers and even the psychic horse Lady Wonder.  Plus, we even work in an Eastbound & Down reference!  What other Gundam films would you like to see in theaters?

Fresh off Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom, we take a deep dive into the (limited) lore around the Cosmic Era's genetically enhanced humans known as Coordinators.  We run through Coordinator history from George Glenn's reveal all the way to his brain in a jar.  Plus, Isaac pitches a devious new plot for Blue Cosmos - COORVID-19 - and we discover the Coordinator slur!
