Trick or treat!  Sunset Productions is back and giving out treats in the form of Gundam Halloween special ideas!  Brian makes kids dress up and relive the One Year War in order to claim their candy - oh the horror!  Isaac does his best Crypt Keeper impression to spin a terrifying yet punny anthology known as the Nightmares of Solomon!  Brian finishes the trip around the block by sending us to a post-apocalyptic hellscape with Old Man Domon and The Red Comet.  Plus, Brian might try to carve a Gundam jack-o'-lantern.  Happy Halloween, everybody!

0088: Gundam SEED Destiny Review Part I

We activate SEED mode once more and head back to the Cosmic Era to discuss the series everyone loves to hate -  SEED Destiny!  The series starts out strong with ruins of Junius 7 raining down on the Earth and Blue Cosmos exercising their quick nuclear trigger finger.  However, we then nosedive into a rapid tailspin as Cagalli says yes to the dress, Jesus Yamato returns by sacrificing the entire new cast, Heine shows up just to die, Rey wastes our screen time, N-Jammer Cancellers disappear without a mention, and everyone refuses to use basic forms of communication to solve their problems.  Come aboard our Destiny documentary flight, but bring your parachute because we are going down.

0081: Crossbone Gundam: Steel 7 Review Part III

Our suicide mission aboard the Icarus comes to an end as Tobia and the rest of the Steel 7 arrive at Jupiter to destroy the colony laser.  Will Tobia's X-1 Full Cloth be enough to handle the Callistos and their Dictii?  Amidst the fierce battle, we ponder if Giri's Vigna Ghina II was formerly owned by Dorel Ronah, ask why Giri hates the Callistos so much (bagels are involved), agree to disagree about space geometry, and punch a hole in Rosemary's sudden profound philosophizing.  Plus, you'd better believe there are a lot of Dictus and Dictii jokes!

0080: Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) Review Part II

We conclude our review of the original Mobile Suit Gundam TV series with a triple-sized episode!  In the back-half, Isaac experiences a roller coaster of emotions as the Doms arrive (hooray!) but then get completely spanked (;_;), while Brian complains about the G-Fighter and modern takes on newtypes controlling time.  Plus, Sleggar slaps Mirai into loving him, the Big Zam dominates the Federation and our hearts, Isaac and Kycilia bond over their hatred of Lalah’s flowy dress, Sunset Productions outlines an updated and expanded 100 episode MSG series, and Isaac aims his Dom’s beam bazooka at father-of-the-century Tem Ray.  Who will survive?  (definitely not Kycilia)
