0059: How Should the Universal Century End?
Tuesday Aug 03, 2021
Tuesday Aug 03, 2021
How should the Universal Century end? The question is simple but the answers are monumentally complicated. In our most depressing episode yet, we journey through the Dark History seeking the answers. We float an exodus from Earth to Mars, attempt to answer the Fermi Paradox with Gundams, and consider the entropic consequences of constant war. There is also discussion about clams, fires, and World War 3. Welcome to the apocalypse.

0058: Gundam 0083: The Afterglow of Zeon Review
Sunday Jul 25, 2021
Sunday Jul 25, 2021
We tackle Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: The Afterglow of Zeon - a compilation film covering Isaac's beloved OVA series Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. As this film with three names progresses at a lightning fast pace, we touch on all the hard-hitting questions as usual. Does Cima have her own harem or does her ship just have HVAC problems? Is Kou "I'd never wreck it" Uraki bad at math because he didn't get into Luna University's women only STEM program? Can Bask Om really see out of those goggles? After climaxing with a stand-off involving standard issue life cancelers, Kou goes directly to jail, does not pass Go, and does not collect his $200. What a downer. The animation was fantastic though!

0057: Let’s Talk About Aliens
Sunday Jul 18, 2021
Sunday Jul 18, 2021
With public interest in UFOs resurging, we think it's only a matter of time before aliens show up again in a Gundam universe. We discuss alien appearances in Gundam so far, with an emphasis on MSG 00 The Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer. Brian wasn't buying what Areola Shoenwhatever was selling, and Isaac found the spindly ELSes totally boring. If aliens were to show up again, what does the project need to be not only a successful story, but a good Gundam story? Do you even want aliens in your Gundam? Isaac pitches MSG: The Thing, while Brian tries Gundam Trek and Gundam: Bug Hunters.

0056: Gundam Hathaway Review
Thursday Jul 08, 2021
Thursday Jul 08, 2021
The day has finally come - Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway has arrived in the USA! We dive in to see if the film lived up to the hype that's been building since 1989. Hathaway becomes Mafty despite a bone-chilling warning from an old friend. Gigi Andalucia really is the sharpest tool in the shed even if she is down for the Count. Kenneth is vain and without shame, but he knows the way to a girl's heart is through EFF standard issue hot cocoa. Just how many boats can Hathaway take in one day? Are all mobile suits in UC 0105 extra thicc or is it just us? Finally, we swap stories about Jollibee.

0055: Gundam Comedies
Thursday Jun 24, 2021
Thursday Jun 24, 2021
Why are Gundam comedies so scarce? Do fans even want a Gundam comedy series? If Sunrise put you in charge of a Gundam comedy, what would your pitch be? We think the Gundam universes are ready for a full blown comedy series and present our ideas: Anaheim Crime Time, Gundam Battle Feast, and Propaganda 0079. We also philosophize about barbecue.

0054: MS IGLOO 2: The Gravity Front Review
Thursday Jun 17, 2021
Thursday Jun 17, 2021
We travel with the Earth Federation forces to The Gravity Front where our MS IGLOO journey reaches its conclusion. As if Barberry's job in the anti-mobile suit tactical squad wasn't already the worst, an angel of Death straight out of Final Fantasy XLII shows up to collect his soul. Type 61 savant Yandell gets his revenge on Zeon's White Ogre with math, but not even the man with a plan can escape Death (or RPGs). Arleen and her squadron of headless Guntanks of the apocalypse destroy everything in their path to find their nemesis, Steamy McTraitor aka Honeypot Joe - but even there, Death awaits. You might say Death really killed these episodes. Anyone seen Oliver May?

0053: Gundam SEED Project Ignited
Tuesday Jun 08, 2021
Tuesday Jun 08, 2021
Gundam SEED Project Ignited promises a new anime film, video game, and manga series all set in the Cosmic Era! Isaac wants more Blue Cosmos but foresees pink METEORs, Brian wants Batman and space whales, and Yzak sees red and goes full Zala. Tekkaman Blade and the Xi Gundam had a baby and named it the Eclipse Gundam... and it looks fantastic. Then we accidentally rant about SEED Destiny's Doms. For the preservation of our blue and pure world!

0052: MS IGLOO: Apocalypse 0079 Review
Monday May 31, 2021
Monday May 31, 2021
We continue our review of MS IGLOO with the second entry in the series: Apocalypse 0079! Despite Zeon's mounting losses, Lt. Oliver May and the Jotunheim crew test an anti-ship "mobile diver" that's just as crazy as it sounds, a mobile pod capable of going toe-to-toe with the Federation Balls, and a mobile armor with a whole lot of junk in the trunk Plus, Isaac earns a medal for his research into Dom thiccness and contracts sudden onset depression when Brian reveals Herbert Von Kuspen's fate. And.. Aguille Delaz, is that you fleeing from A Baoa Qu?

0051: The UC NexT 0100 Project: Hathaway Delayed, Unicorn 2, and F91 Lives
Monday May 24, 2021
Monday May 24, 2021
Bad news: Hathaway has been delayed again (Isaac already has a call in to the Emperor). Good news: Gundam producer Naohiro Ogata dropped some low-key bombshells about what's next for the UC NexT 0100 Project! More Unicorn appears likely and with it Zeon's dissolution. We doubt Mineva makes it out alive when the Cuffs attack Banagher's upgraded Gundam Pegacorn (can you visualize all the Gunpla??). What's your prediction? And finally, the road to F91 is acknowledged... does this mean F90 in animation someday? The future is bright, Universal Century fans!

0050: MS IGLOO: The Hidden One Year War Review
Monday May 17, 2021
Monday May 17, 2021
We join Oliver May's weapon testing team on the Jotunheim to kick off our review of MS IGLOO! Today's episode is all about the first entry in the series: The Hidden One Year War. In a world where capital ships can turn on a dime and Degwin gives pep talks, Char decides to get dramatic. The tic-tac popping pilot of the Hildolfr is the guy she told the Guntank not to worry about. And when Zeon's Odessa escape plan goes awry (was there actually a plan?), a phantom suit saves the day despite its pilot getting the crazy eyes and Bureaucrat McMonocle withholding information.
